What subs did you choose? what size speakers are you putting in besides the 6x8's?

I have not choosen any subs yet, I may go with a pair of alpine type r's a single type x, a treo of type s 10's, may go infinity perfects, not sure.

The front speakers will be 6.5" components, I got a steal on them so I am going to give them a whirl, I will be making my own adapters for them.

I still neeed to get carpet padding for the firewall/floors(keep heat/sound out).

Need to get some spray adjeasive, witing to hear back from someone for like 6 ans of it.

Need to get 3 fuse blocks, fuses for them, figure out where the switches are going, get more wire loom, and battery terminals. The red top doesn't have side posts like I was hoping for, so, I am going to see if I can swap it for one that does have side posts, I want to run the amp wiring off of that to give it a stealthy stock look, all wire will be loomed and covered where visable, the clear tops on fuse holders will be blacked out. relays will be stashed away. Amps will be under seats and in spare tire compartment.

Buy my setup! It's more than enough with speakers backing it up. Bumps hella hard for a hatch, you really don't need any more kick then this setup.... All my mirrors shake when I barely have it turned on. Justin and Mike have both heard it also. It's a good price and would kick ass with your setup....

hey try a set of kicker comp vr's. i had 4 12 inch Comp VR's in the back of a zx3 on a kicker 1200.1 and took second at the Mach 1 bass comp in feb. I hit 142.4. it was loud as hell. I might get rid of the amp if you know someone that might be interested.

It is going to for sure be a hella long weekend, my brother said he is not looking forward to it, I will be also pulling front windows to tint them while I am in there.

Nope. Not interested in your setup.

Type x is on the list due to foot print, takes less room in the floor of my trunk then a pair of subs.

Already had them many moons ago(they ARE insane), the new design sucks and after my experience with each size of the L7 line up, I will never touch a kicker driver again. I had the tensil leads falling off of the coil, and odd ticking/clicking sounds coming from the drivers. I went thru 1 8 3 10's 2 12's and 2 15's.

i tell you what man with just the subs im runnin ( 2 tens) it makes me think that the focus isnt put together all that well . my wind sheild will flex almost a 1/4 of a n inch either way. if you were to grab the door seam and put your finger on the seal part it gets pinched from the car flexing. i also worry about my outboard mirrors one has already broke off the other had the glass come out.   .... what i cant hear any.. your mouth is movin but i cant hear the words comin out

Sounds like my old tbird.

Me and my brother had some treo csx's in a ported box in our old sundance, with an american bass amp on each, pushing 1200rms to each driver. Lets just say you didn't need to honk the horn at people to get thier attention

unless you're running a LOT more than 500WRMS to the sub, a single type R will be a LOT louder than a type X anyday, because the X is so horribly inefficient. In fact, it would probably take 8-900WRMS on a X to get the output of 500WRMS on a R
