I'm getting sick of that sound. The chime for when you have the key in and open the door with car turned off. My 03 chimes as is if the key is in, but it's not. What part do I replace to get it to work properly again, and where is it located? photo would be very much help indeed

Might be something that can be programed or "unplugged"
Otherwise I don't actually "here" it anymore unless I'm in a annoyed mood.. lol

I believe it's just a spring loaded contact on the side of the ignition tumbler.

Fixed it. Replaced #11572 nice and quiet when I open the door now. Ah, it is the little things in life.

The old saying holds true, you learn something new every day.
