A death of a Focus

My G/F had hit a deer with my ZX5 Christmas weekend. Nobody was hurt other than the deer was hauled off by a truck and my car hauled off by a Flat bed.

I let the car go to the insurance. After buy back value and parts put into car I could have bought another car for about the same price.

As for the replacement it is a 06 Wagon SE Auto. I bought this car for less than the buy back was for the ZX5.

Wow, sure took a long time for your ZX5 to come up on the salvage auction. At least I think it's yours. It's up this Friday. If this question is out of line I totally understand. How much did they pay you for the car? The info on the website shows actual cash value of $8,325. That is supposed to be the amount paid out, I've never had the chance to ask someone if it really was, or just a made up number.

I don't know who bought or fixed it, but it's been fixed up and it's on another auction Saturday.

I had seem it on CL a couple weeks ago thought about it but $7,000for a stamped title didn't do it for me even tho I am the only owner of the car.

It was some place by Milaca and Foley. Called the number and it was disconnected.

My guess is that it was ABT (auto body technitions). They had another Focus there, and I've seen others from them at this place before too. I think it only got a bid of $3800, but I was distracted by a jabber jaw at the time.

Edit, found thier website, still for sale.
