I'm looking for a card for my daughters computer, nothing fancy but hers won't run Minecraft with the onboard video it has now.

I'll check in our "old" parts drawer at work on Monday, if I find anything it'll be free!

Are you sure it's PCI and not PCI-E or AGP?

Pretty sure, my son has spare PCI-e and AGP cards and he said none of them fit.

He's pretty good with this stuff but I'll go peek inside myself in a minute.

Yup, PCI. It's an old P4 H.P.

The whole point of this PC is that it was free

My son has gotten some great deals over the summer and has put together systems for himself, both sisters and even managed to find himself and the older sister laptops.

The kid is quite a scrounger but when it comes to something specific like this you can't just expect it to fall into your lap, that's where my scrounging abilities come in

We have tons of old PCI cards at work I'll take a look Monday and let you know.

I might have one laying around somewhere still, but if I do I've been saving it for nostolgic reasons, first one I ever bought back in the day

I'm sure I've got a few, but I'm also sure they'd be worse than the on-board video in a P4 box. I can dig them out for you to try if you want.
