looking for a good MK1 DOHC manual trans. need one ASAP. absolutely no grinds, shooting for around 100,000 miles around there, my synchros are out and need a new trans now! CASH IN HAND. pm me thanx

No you worded it fine. You just literally can't find any in good shape. They all have grinds or diff issues.
Trust me, I looked... I finally threw in the towel and am getting mine rebuilt as we speak....

Name of the transmission is MTX75, that might help in your search... Try car-part.com or something maybe you can find one from a salvage yard.
