Why did you quote me?
I was just pointing out an error you made in your assumptions of what he looks like, he didn't respond at all.

IMHO, mean-spirited, uncalled for, and unacceptable. Personal slams like this should not be tolerated. Just sayin'.CleanZX3 wrote:You look like a fucking dumb-ass. Now I know you type like that because you are actually slightly mentally disabled.

To get back on track (if even wanted) go for it! Buy a CV. A friend of mine has had a few and they've all been great. The only thing I would worry about, is cosmetic condition. I'm like you, I can fix something if it goes wrong, but I'm terrible at cosmetic stuff. Buy one, put a T45 in it, and make some tire smoke!

cars on craigs list. the paint is easy. get one, scuff, fill, sand and send to macco. i like blue or black so its cheap to spray and clear. dont need to cut in or jam it to match a new color. plus if you do the labor like remove the trim its fairly cheap. but yes i am hoping for a good car. if i find one thats good with any money left over i may grab one for a play toy as well. just a pipe dream.... o4 terminator and six speed in a vic, lowered 2 inches on wide steel rims with no chrome.spots25 wrote:To get back on track (if even wanted) go for it! Personally I would get Ma and Pas CV. I would say 90%that of the P71's frames are twisted and 100%have of them have been used as a tool not a car...

Ever seen the Mythbusters episode where they tried to duplicate the American Grafitti scene where they yanked the rear axle out of the squad car?
They tried and tried and no matter what they did they couldn't do it with the CV until they started cutting the rear control arms.
I still say I'd rock an old squad car regardless of how they were treated when in use, if we hadn't gotten the Sable so cheap I'd have been looking for a Vic.
