It's from a 95 Contour, milage and condition is unknown, it was dropped on the oil pan when pulled at the yard. $75, you must pick up. If you have any questions or want pic's just ask.

What is $75 too much? Some one out there must want a spare block?

Pretty much every thing from the valve cover to the oil pan. The manifolds can go with it but there removed (I had some one that needed the head but I never got around to finding the right torq bits for the head bolts). All the internals are still complete, like the valve train/cams and pisitons, rods plus crank. Plus I have a bucket of misc brakets, bolts and hoses from it.

Just no pumps or alternator.

Actually, if the head and all is intact, as in, no one has been in the motor, valve cover is still in place, I will prob take it.

The extra brackets and bolts are icing on the cake.

Elk river is not far away.

Is there oil in the motor or was it all drained? What shape is all the tin in?(oil pan/valve cover).

The valve cover was off, but thats as far as I got. Here's the story, I needed some misc parts to do a Zetec swap to a 92 Escort. So I went to my local junk yard, Jerry's of big lake and asked them for the parts. They had a 95 Contour Zetec that they broke the oil pan on and did'nt know what to do with it, they said I could buy it for cheap but they would not warranty it. I do not know the miles, but they usally dont bother to pull a high milage motor, they just send them into the u-pull.

I did remove the coil pack and a some brakets, I was planning on selling the head to a buddy of mine, but never got around to getting it off. Now the motor has been taking up space in my garage and want it gone.

Does the rotating assembly still turn at all or is it stuck?

It's been allmost a year since I've touched it, but I'm sure it was fine. I can double check and get back to you on that.

I could prob swing picking it up if it is not seized. I will have to figure a day to stop buy, I work this weekend and next weekend I am doing tree removal, so, it would be some time after that I could come get it.

I have been working 5-6 days a week 12 hr days :x

This is not a VCT head, both of the cam gears are normal.

The engine does turn over, it's not seized.

I'm located in Big Lake. UMDvix know's were it's at.
Nights or weekends work for me, just let me know before you come. PM me for phone numbers.
