Anyone know of a good shop for cleaning/checking a cylinder head? I am getting an svt head/cam and am thinking of giving it the once over somewhere before install.

Any machine shop should work. There's a place just down the road from you, wasn't there?
Only thing I've seen that you have to watch out for with the SVT head is electrolysis on the deck surface:
It can be repaired by welding the head and resurfacing it. But it's best to try and find a clean head.

Are you talking about Grimmspeed, I think they moved to Minneapolis?
