which models are u aiming for....?? SPI man/atx, ZETEC man/atx, ZETEC (SVT) 6speed, or the 2.3l DURATEC man/atx....

The Zetec transmission can take a decent amount of power. Marcy Motorsport has a transmission rebuild kit. If you're looking at getting your hands on one to look at it, I have a transmission with a blow blocker ring. I also have a few blown heads lying around.

Well I have an IB5 manual 5-speed which is what is on the later model 2.0l escorts, and the SPI focus.
UK Quafie makes a LSD and 4.06 final drive for the IB5 i've seen an IB5 with out the gears or LSD take well over 250hp.
As said in your test dummy post let me know if you want to takle the SOHC market.

look into autos ive found the gearing is great for top speed blasts down 694/94 at 2;00 in the mornin
