So it sounds like you need a slave cyl and a clutch?
Also If you own a SVT there are no parts available for the Getrag... But you can get the clutch, flywheel and slave cyl. oh and the bearings and seals

I don't undertand why you'd need a transmission for a failed clutch unless something got really torn up in there.
Al may have a transmission if you need one.

so you think if i replace the slave cyl, clutch, flywheel, and the pressure plate it should be good?
if i were to buy a kit like that from cfm or somebody?
and Steve wasn't there a part that was upgraded and or changed in that transmission? what was that part if you can find it?

I just bought the LUK kit off of ebay for $423 shipped, about $125 cheaper than CFM before shipping

There's the link, took about 5 days with shipping

Yeah, I would just do the whole LUK kit of ebay. Swap in some good new trans fluid and drive it.
If you really want to, you could open it up and check the magnet for metal chunks or anything. But like Steve said, it's not fixable, it's a replacement.

The Getrag itself has been a very solid transmission, if the clutch went out the clutch went out, it doesn't mean the trans is shot.screaming4snow wrote:so you think if i replace the slave cyl, clutch, flywheel, and the pressure plate it should be good?

It is possible to damage the trans if the clutch blows up or if it has issues for a long time, you could damage the case or the input shaft but it's not real likely.
The only upgrade was to replace the flywheel and clutch with a larger diameter, higher capacity unit.

The only thing I really worried about when my slave leaked was that the trans was like half empty. But I dove on it for like 3 months with an unknown slipping clutch before I took it apart. Put new fluid in it and it was fine.

Take your time. It's a big job and there's a lot of ways to add expense if you mess something up. If you have the money and skill/tools, you may want to pick up an limited slip. You have to drop the trans to do it and having one is awesome!
