different colored lights

H.I.D's (stock)
after warming up one of them is really purple. and the other is the nice white...

think its a bad bulb?

Yep. Color temperature tends to rise as bulbs fail.

Should just be a standard d2s bulb, not too difficult to find, just make sure you get decent ones.

so as far as replacement bulbs..?

could i just put a d2s 10k directly vs the stock 6k? or whatever for the colored effects?

I wouldn't do 10K....Stock should be somewhere in the 4100-4800k range. 6 is nice and blue, but still white enough that you won't attract too much attention. Besides, all you do when you go up in color temp is lose light output, all HID capsules run at 4100-4800, anything else usually has coatings on the bulb.

While we are talkin about bulbs and hids and such, Where can I find some dual h3 hid setup? My headlights run 2 fog lights, they have a little pigtail wire that comes off of them, if you know what I mean. I was just going to go ebay, but there are so many choices that I dont wanna order the wrong thing.
