Does anyone know what gains someone could gain from swapping a zx2 intake cam into a focus zetec? I searched here, focal jet, and google and didn't come up with anything.

If you provided the lift and duration of the ZX2 cams someone might be able to help.

Can anyone comment on if the intake cam would be a good idea?

Looks like there is very little lift to be to be gained (.004") over the stock Focus intake cam. You could lose that and more by not having the right buckets when you do the swap.     Here's another comparison you can make. Subtract the 0.050" duration from the advertised duration. This difference can give you an idea of the aggressiveness of the cam's grind. The smaller the difference, the faster the valves are being opened, and the more power the cam will make. The ZX2 cams have a less aggressive grind so they may make less power.

I've got the FR2's in my 2001. With the additioin I/H/E it feels pretty good. Pulls hard all the way to redline.
