Drove it Friday, and it sat over the weekend. Fuel pump hums and it cranks, but doesn't fire. 60K on it.

Gave it a kick and hopped in the truck for work. Any ideas on where I should start looking?

well if its cranking and you are getting fuel i would go after the plugs. (careful with the coil packs though)

So I come home, turn the key, and it starts! Maybe I should have plugged it in last night, it did get cold you know. lol

Still believe I need to start checking some things out.

Obviously you fixed it when gave it a kick before heading to work.

Spark or fuel. One of the two. You said you heard the fuel pump. Still need to check for pressure. Not 100% sure how the coil packs know when to fire. Could be a sensor for those.

During startup, spark and fuel are derived from the crankshaft position sensor.

When I popped the hood yesterday afternoon, I found muddy cat footprints all over the engine room. F'ing outside cats!

It/they may have done something to some fudgulater, or maybe there was a paw between the crank sensor and the crank. haha
