(yes the one from cl) so ive been looking for a head but if i cannot find one ill be forced to get the old one repaired. 16 valves and 16 guides. lol along with head work. i would be willing to buy one needing less head work.....

no svt head listed on car part. only one motor in mn listed, and it only turns over 3 quarters of a turn. they want 400 for that.

That's a regular Zetec head, they are not the same.

Buy the head for $600 now or I will. That is a hell of a deal!!
For reference I paid Chalon ~$400 for a used head complete and I thought that was a good deal. Brand new for a bit more is awesome.
Been watching what the very few good used heads go for and it's around that $400 mark. But I know a few of them where iffy IMO. One for sure had bent valves and the seller wouldn't say it did or didn't, don't see him post anymore on FF.

The SVT head is absolutely unique, anything saying it fits a Zetec and SVT is wrong.

A Zetec or SVT head can be modified to fit the other engine but they are NOT directly compatible of interchangeable.

SVT intake valves are ~$23.89/each. Exhaust valves are about $16.65/each ... 23.89*8=$191.12, 16.65*8=$133.20, 191.12+133.20=$324.32 ... according to ZXTuner.com
No clue on what guides and seats cost, or if you can even get them individually. Seats I can't imagine would be cheap. Then you add in the cost of a valve job, $100 and any other labor ... the $600 head starts to look like a great deal, hence why I'll buy it if you don't.
