Whose tune is on the Predator?

Tom's tune is on the predator. It is his stock SVT tune. I have it on my SVT and have no complaints, only a big grin when driving.

Did you just reurn the car to a stock tune or do you have a backup file of the tune?

When you return the car to stock the custom tune is lost, the only way to reload the custome tune is with a backup file stored on a PC or flash drive.

and if you didn't return it to stock tune, the tuner is actually locked to your VIN.

Hmmmm, hadn't realized this. My car still has tom's tune on it. I have a file of the tune as well saved on hard disk. The tuner may be locked to my VIN, since I have not returned it to stock.

Yeah, the tuner is locked to your car. You can unlock it by flashing the car back to stock but then you have a stock tune.

When you do that it loses the custom tune but since you have a backup file you could still include the tune when you sell the programmer.

Yeah, rack is still for sale. If I cannot unlock the tuner without whiping my ECU back to stock then I can't get rid of the tuner. :/
