driver door won't latch

so I washed my car... Dried by hand really well. Leaving the wash door latched. Got home door latched. Now the door won't latch. Any suggestions?

Try spraying the latch with liquid wrench or try heating it with a hair dryer or perferably a heat gun.

x2 on the hair dryer, you got water inside the door handle or latch area.

I soaked it with tri flow last night went out to defrost it this morning and it latched. Didn3 evenhave to sit inthe cold. Thank god.

I've had my door do that before. In the summer and in the winter. I usually just need to move the latch around for a second. It sticks a little. Tried using some WD40 and that seemed to help.

My Ford probe used to have this problem real bad, every time I washed it during the winter I wouldn't be able to get the damn thing to close.
