i already replaced the tps and checked over the actual throttle body and it all seems fine. but as soon as i put the clutch in the rpms either stay the same if its over 2k or it slowly keeps goin up.... any ideas of what i need to do next?????

after replacing the tps it helped it not rev so high so fast.... but it still does it.. you think ill need a new throttle body?

Vacuum leak. Unmeatered air is getting into the intake manifold causing the vehicle to think that the throttle is open

The rubber boot clamps between the lower and upper intake are prone to loosening which leads to leaks.

You can try reclamping them or check with CFM and see if they still have their silicone rubber boot and clamp kit which should fix it up for you.

This happened on my old zx3 when the cruise control would get stuck open.

move yer damm floor mat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so when you dis engage the clutch the revs climb.......do you have a cold air kit? check the clamp to see if its snaged on the linkage. also check your main vac like its the one that goes into the red collared do hicky on the manie.
