no torque shmo torque.

It doesn't mattter in this car. It is a BLAST to drive. I've had it like two days. I took it up the shore last night to see what it can do, and WOW. Wow.

Yes, I said it twice. Revving that baby up to the 7,000 - 7,500 range is crazy. I was at about 50 in first gear, then squakked in second and accelerated just as fast as first. Good times.

Anyways...can I still come to the focus meets or am I banned cause I got a Honda?

I'll be painting the stockies gunmetal grey, calipers white (I think) and putting in bright whites this Saturday. I'll be down in the cities area on Monday...

Anyways. Thanks for the responses...I'll talk to you guys later. :D

I would just suggest that if you run across an ST or and SVT with an FMIC you don't antagonize them or you'll not find the Honda so superior anymore.

I'm sure it's a nice car but it's no match for an ST or SVT with even a low boost setup on it.

BTW-my stock SVT revs to 7600 with no trouble at all (had the redline reset in my tune) :D

Yeah. mine comes that way stock, no reset needed. And it goes to 8,000...not 7,500.

I think your focus fever is clouding your vision. No offense.

I owned an ST. I know for a fact it wasn not as quick, fast, as this car. Not even close. I don't know much about the stock SVT's so I won't speak for or against those.

Nice car. My buddy has one, and I like it. When we raced, he had me by a nose. My bumper was at his front wheel.

Thanks Clean ZX3.... :)

Redline Race...Stock is fun, but modified is more fun, I agree. I was just making a point with fordsvtparts.

I am slowly updating/customizing my si. I put four new tires on yesterday. I mentioned the painting and lights i'll be doing this weekend. I'll probably remove some emblems/dealer stickers too.

Question for whoever...there are no holes in the front bumper for plates...do I make holes?? Do I put the plate in the front window? Do I not display the plate? Should I rig it under the bumper in the slotted sort of area?

If you have pictures to explain your answers, that would be helpful. Thanks! :D

The SVT redlines stock at 7200, I just had it bumped because the engine is more than capable of handling it.

I'd be more than happy to run against a Honda like yours just for giggles.

Don't pop holes in your front bumper for your plate. Ricer mount it in the grill. Better then drilling holes into the bumper imo.
