how many psi should my 2001 zetec have?

also how much can the head be milld/shaved on a pretty much stock motor, i thought i heard if you take to much you needed adjustable timing gears to compansate the valve timing.

also what is the approxamet compression ratio for the stock motor?

google....but i thought it was something like 9.6:1 for the stock motor, not 100 percent on that tho

stock is 9.6:1

the machine shop at work will have the "machine to limit" for the head, ~0.010" IIRC according to AERA.

Dig on FF and you'll find my compression info.

I think in the 150psi range. Not 100% sure though.

mine was betwwen 70 and 140, i pulled it all aparts, the head is warped, and the valves are recessed and not sealing. i bought anouther car today, im going to swap motors for now until i have the money to build it up right.
