Fun trade pattern

So, here's how it started:

1.) Someone hit my focus in the parking lot. They cracked the bumper under the license plate and dented the top of it a bit. Like the size of a quarter.
2.) I claimed it and got $800 cash.
3.) I used the $800 to buy a 4-wheeler. 1994 Polaris 400 4x4 with a plow. That was fun and fast for being a utility 4-wheeler!
4.) I traded the Polaris 400 4x4 for a 1997 Skidoo MXZ 583 and a PS3 with GTA4 and two controllers. That sled was crazy-fast...and fun.
5.) I traded the PS3 for a brand new Sony 12MP digital camera and a logitech digital surround sound system. Kept that stuff.
6.) I traded the 1997 MXZ 583 for a 1993 F-150 with 46K original miles on it. It needed some work, so I fixed it up and sold it.
7.) I put about $200 into the truck, plus a lot of time, and sold it for $4,000...the NADA value.
8.) I bought a 2002 Subaru Outback Limited in sweet condition. I still have that.
9.) the KBB retail value on the Subaru is over $11,000. Not a bad trading cycle, eh??

I am considering keeping going...but I really like the Subaru. It rides awesome and I am anxious to drive it in the snow. Plus it has every possible option. If I trade again, I might shoot for a 2003 + Subaru Baja or a 2005 + Toyota Prius. The key is finding the right person. Anyways, I thought it was a cool cycle, so yeah. The Impala was a lemon. It sucked. I sold that seperately. So that's where I am at!

Please, for the love of all things good in the automotive world, DO NOT buy a subaru baja.

Most sinfully ugly thing I've seen on public roads in a long time.

Don't buy a Prius. Don't become one of...those people.

A Baja would be cool with a STi motor swap and slammed on the ground with some flush wheels. I have'nt seen it done yet. But I'm sure your not wanting to put the time or money into that project. Just keep the Lesbo if you enjoy it.

Lesbo?

I am not a big fan of the look of the baja's either, but I love the versatility, resale value and ride. A Prius is doubtful. I don't like them enough to give up a Subaru for it.

If I did find a decent baja, I would likely make more off-road type mods to it than dropping it. Thanks for the feedback though guys! It's good to get in touch again.

Kyle, how's the VW?

^ LOL

Sell all of it, and buy another focus.

Here is my trade pattern.

Parents bought me a 5k honda del sol si, we repainted it and put some wheels and a sound system in it. 120k miles
Traded for a Mercury Cougar v6 with wheels, sound system, body kit, and a whole bunch of other crap. 100k miles
Traded it for a 2000 turbo focus body kit, wheels, and various other crap. 55k miles
My dad traded it in for a 2008 accord coupe, and my dad gave me his mint black zx5 svt which is now my lover. Yes, we are exlusive.

I dont plan on trading or selling for a long, long time.

He got it! LOL

Subaru Outbacks and Forresters were picked as the Lesbo Community, vehicle of choice.
