my buddy told me about this prokart place one is in burnsville and the other is in maple grove, seems like it would be interesting to check out, nothing official and im far from a major planner of this group just wanted to throw this out and see what people think, might be fun to get a lil group together one weekend, i'll post the link to the site if anyone is interested, this is just to feel it out and maybe someone higher up the ranks would be interested in settin it up better, otherwise i have no problems, me and the girl are goin to check it out today
http://www.prokartindoor.com/ the burnsville is all indoor and the maple grove is half inside half outside, same length courses

Prokart is a blast, Depending on when I'd be up for it.

FYI-A normal eight minute session will have an average person seriously worn out by the end of the race, Max for me would probably be two sessions if we can arrange a time.

That would be alot of fun if we get enough people together we could maybe get a group rate. which would help a ton haven't been there in a while but it was kinda outrageous the last time I went. I'm up for maple grove someplace ten miles from home verses 70+.

For non-members it's $20.00 per race. I'd go to Maple Grove, I've never run that track.

The last time I was in a league, the fastest lap was set by a guy named "Tiny". Tiny was about 300lbs.

That's either pure skill on his part, a total lack of skill on everyone elses or he got a freak Kart.

Weight is the killer in these things as they've got no low end power, momentum is everything.

Last time we went out the fastest lap in the group was my 65 year old father, I could almost stay with him but he's a good 40 pounds lighter than I am and he's got 30 years of real racing experience to draw on.

I'm guessing it was a bit embarrasing for the other guys out there being beaten by a grandpa.
