Wheel Refinishing

I am looking at a 2000 Lexus LS400, and the car is in really nice shape. The only issue is that the chrome plating on the wheels is peeling off in large chunks. It doesn't look like salt damage. It looks more like crummy plating.
Anyway, what would be the approximate cost for re-plating, and who does stuff like this?

Chrome is hugely expensive, You'd probably be better off having them stripped and powder coated.

Or just buy new wheels. Will probably be cheaper

$280.00/ea. for replicas.

The stock wheels are pretty ugly anyway, just buy a set of nice chrome 17" wheels for the same price or less.

Check local platers. Oh and don't forget, drop and tint!
