I like it. Would look cool with some yellow military style stenciling on one of the spokes, like a nomenclature or part number.
Something like this:

You would've had a broken wheel ziptied together

No one noticed the bent lip

so zip-ties aren't that far off.
Thinking mounting the tires might scar/chip the lip so I may have to do some touch up work. Have to give it some thought but right now I'm thinking orange and not yellow for a stripe around the lip, sorta feathered and thin like they do for hand pinstriping.

The olive and orange would look a little off. But the Military look would be sick with the OD and the yellow. It is personal preference also. If you like the orange and olive, have at it man. I just wouldn't go overboard with the orange. A thin pinstripe maybe 1/8inch... with a basic orange it could come out really strong really fast. I'l take a piece of cardboard and paint it the green and add the orange to it and feel it out for a bit first.
Otherwise, Olive looks great!

mix a bit of green into the orange/yellow to take some of the bright out.

I see in your FJ thread you've got a blaster? What would you charge to blast a set of wheels? I need to strip down my EAPs before I paint them, and if I have to sand between all those fucking spokes I'll end up murdering somebody.

Not much. I takes me some time though because I'm working off a small compressor, read: hours. I get sand for basically nothing, $5 for 1/2 yard of sand at the gravel pit then I sift it by hand.
I guess if you bring them to me I'll do it free, if I have to pick them up $20.

Blaze orange lip? might not be bad. Alone the wheel color is ugly.
Would be cool to tie the colors of the wheel into the rest of the car somehow. Or cont a army style theme alittle?
I like the idea of yellow accents on there tho. Reminds of a widend steelie, the machinist will write specs on the wheel. Looks cool IMO

Some thoughts from the "Old Guy":
1) Avocado is a very 70's color, and there are a lot of retro styles these days (although I don't recall any avocado wheels on an AAR Cuda).
2) Never mind what other people think, do what you like! As the old Roman adage states, "Taste is not to be disputed." For example, if you want a purple car with green wheels, go for it!
