Times are tough, I need money. Not to mention, I get winded going up two flights of stairs (10 years worth of Kools). Thankfully I've had two months worth of Chantix donated to the effort (thanks dad). Wish me luck, it'll be tough.

Just stick it out. Get pissed that you let your body get hooked on nicotine when the withdrawls kick in. Be determined to see it through. You'll be past it in no time and you won't chance going back. You don't need luck. You need consternation.

exactlly what he said. Find a side effects of quitting sheet. its kind of funny.

One big thing is to drink a LOT of water, because it helps flush the nicotine out of your system.

Will power is all it takes, the worst part is just due to the physical act of it. The nicotine addiction is the easy part to break.
I smoked two packs a day for years and quit 20 years ago, glad I did or it probably would have killed me by now.

Changed thread title. I think it'll be a few days on the Chantix before I stop smoking, but I'm committed to doing it.

i think that my problem of why i kinda don't want to quit. i spend hours in the car every day. it givs me somthing to do. when i'm home i can go all day np.
i smoke a half a cig at a time, after that it's too harsh and a pack lasts me like 4-5 days

Keep up the good work. Once kicked you'll wonder why you ever smoked in the first place!

Yeah, I'm cutting back. You're supposed to smoke when you start taking Chantix and cut back slowly until you quit.
