Just swapped in a new Multimatic kit today, replacing factory SVT stuff with about 100k on it. Holy crap, what a difference....no drama from the suspension anymore (passengers are a different story), and it doesn't flail backwards when the throttle's applied.

Oh, and Steve- 2" black PVC pipe works wonderfully for the dust boots on the rear, just sand the letters off and cement it to the bump stops.

I'd post pics, but it looks exactly the same.... :?

Eh, we'll wait until the summer wheels and headlights go on. She needs a claybar and wax, too.

Nice!

I can't wait to get the suspension put into the crate here in the next few weeks.

Did it drop it much?

Handles like Amtrak....

Probably dropped it about 1/2 inch or less in the rear, almost nothing in front. I really didn't measure...

I believe this was right after installing the Multimatic kit so the rear hadn't quite settled yet but it won't site much lower than this.

I saw Steve's car today... with the winter tires on, but it still sat very nice. A good 1/2 around, maybe 3/4 in rear. It probably seemed a bit lower with the winter tires, but it still looked good.

I'm tucking the tops of my winter tires (about 1/4 taller than stock), I've got a little more crap in my trunk than Steve.

Tell me more about this multimatic suspension. Is it worth the extra cost over a stock svt suspension?

It's $525 here.
