I recently purchased a 01 zx3. Im new to fords, and this one seems to be more then I bargained for.
It runs like shit, but looks pretty decent.
I ran the codes and got 4 codes.
P1000
B1602
P0171
P0300
Please help me find out how to take care of these.

These codes all seem to have to do with the fuel bank shit.
Does anyone know how I would check the fuel pressure?
ANY help is very appreciated.

I meant that in the nicest way possible. Thought it would be the "easy" fix you thought it was.
I have it together and it is still throwing codes.

Someone told me it was running shitty cause there was no head temp sensor

Sounds like that has a lot to do with it based on the codes.

Check fuel pressure, check compression, proceed to assume it's due to the stripped EGR system.

How do i go along with checking the fuel pressure?
Compression is 120, 135, 135, 135.

There should be a valve on the fuel rail that looks similar to a tire valve, but you need a fuel pressure gauge.

*edit*
Why not just reinstall the EGR system and save yourself a headache?

It did not come with the car. I have everything but the egr metal hose and the egr itself.
Anyone have a cat and those two things for cheap? the cat is welded where it goes also, thats why i need one.

Well, if there is no cat or EGR you need a O2 cheater or a programmer. Do you have either of those things?

the cat and o2s are in it, just the hole for the egr is welded in.

i have neither the o2 cheater or a programmer.

Well, there's your problem. Without EGR the O2 sensor is picking up a rich condition and causing the ECU to throw codes because it can't correct the fuel. Get a cheater or a programmer and your problems will likely disappear.
