What do you know about the SVT Raptors. I had heard they decided not to make them because of the economy and a few other reasons. But I just found one on craigslist. I know a good bunch of you work at dealerships so yea. Just wondering if they are decent trucks or not.
Heres what I found-

Yes, they are in the market, but not to many, so if you have the money, get one, but if you really care, wait for the next one , is going to have a bigger engine.

They're out there, the ones we get tend to be sold before they even come off the delivery truck.

theres one thats been sitting at the dealer here since last fall. of course them marking it up to almost 45k may be one reason...

Sounds like they aren't trying to sell it at all, we haven't had one stay here for more than a week and I think that one was sold but they got the buyer to leave it here for display for a little while.

well lets put it this way, I wouldn't buy a thing from them... new or used (altho their service department rocks).
they had an 06 explorer sport track fully loaded with 18k on it for 17k. thought man thats a good price... till I walked around it.
nothing, and I mean nothing lined up on the front end. hood, headlights, grill, bumper, fenders, absolutely nothing.
so I got inquisitive and started haggling to see how low they would go and got them to 15k before i went and looked at it again...
thats when I discovered a little problem when I went to look at the vin to get a carfax... there was no vin plate! it had a minnesota assigned vin. seems everything from the cab forward had been replaced (body parts and cab).
it was what we around here call overpriced rolling road trash...
And they sell alot of this stuff as used cars we come to find out.
