ST Brake Confusion

As luck would have it, all three Foci need front brakes. Changed out the 01 and 04 with no problem.
The 05 ST is a challenge...the local O'Rieley's lists pads and rotors for '05s with a note "EXCLUDING ZX4". Not even a mention of an ST. The hell....
Ford has pads for $62 and rotors for $94 per. (Sorry Steve...wanted these today...I know you can do better).
Are ST brakes really different from a "normal" focus or an SVT?

They are Svt size I believe.

ST fronts have smaller front rotors but the pads are interchangeable between the ST and SVT.
In fact ALL 2005 and up cars use a similar caliper to the SVT so the pads interchange, That said the actual SVT pads do have a bit more surface area to the pad material itself even though the backing plates are the same.
The ST rears use the exact same pads as EVERY disc brake Focus including the SVT.
Does that help?

I know SVT pads will work. What about rotors? Are mine 280 mm? SVT rotors are 300mm?
Will SES rotors or any other rotor +05 work?

I believe all '05 and up fronts are 280mm, the SVT's are 300mm.

k..... got rotors and pads on order. It's incredible on how the "big box" stores have nothing listed for ST, or "excluding ZX4". Don't get it, there's a million of these thing running around.
Getting ceramic pads this time. I've never had these before, so interested in how they'll work.
Couldn't work on ST brakes...so we put on new floor in the Shell Lake fishing boat. Took out 209 lb. of soaking wet balsa wood, and replaced it with some heavy fiberglass and mucho resin. I had some balsa wood with a fiberglass mat, so a keel strip was added just because. Should be a stiff mofo fishing boat.
