Brake Noise (new brakes)

My son replaced the front brakes (new rotors & pads - OEM Motorcraft from Tousley) on my SVTF, and now it makes a "moaning" sound at low speeds, intermittently, after braking. I trust my son's skills. I know that he wiped the rotors off with brake cleaner. Nothing seems to be hanging up.
Any ideas?

I've never had one make noise after doing brakes,Was it just the fronts?
I've had issues with the caipler brackets needing a lot of cleanup to get the pads to move freely though
I really think you'll have to tear it apart again to figure it out though.
Sorry about the colors, I just had to do it

I deserve it! There is some rationale to the colors though. As an engineer who does a lot of processes, you learn to highlight the stuff that you want to focus on, segregate, etc.
Thanks for the (gentle) jab!

Thanks for the highly intelligent replies re: "engineer". Thanks to Steve for the tip re: cleaning the caliper brackets. There was some buildup on them - nothing that a wire wheel wouldn't remove. Seems to have cured the noise.

Glad to help Jim.

Would it help to lubricate those brackets? Maybe with grease, or some dry lubricant like graphite?

its posissible for new rotors and pads to make stange noises up to 5oo mile after the service it all depends on the finish that is on the rotors.
