little more juice?

ok so a buddy and i have this strange idea on supercooling the intake tube, because as we al know, colder air = denser charge = more fuel = more combustion = more power.
here's the idea. take a 3 inch stainless pipe, probly 12 inches long.
then take 4 inch stainless pipe, probly 8 inches long, and find a way to weld it over the other pipe, like a sleeve, right in the center of it, we're going to be taking 2 huge washers, and sliding them over the 3 inch pipe, welding them in place, and sliding the 4 inch over top of them, welding that in place to the washers. now, tap a hole in the top for to inject said cooling agent, and another hole in the bottom so that excess cooling agent can drain out.
this cooling the inner 3 inch tube, should in theory cool the intake air, allowing us to gain a little extra something something for a short period of time.
our cooling agent of choice? a fire extinguisher (sp?) find a way to mount the thing in the cabin, run a hose to the intake tube, and spray it into the sleeve.
it may work, it may not work, if it works, hell yea. if not? no biggy!
