Yeah, not too bad. It's only about 30 hp down from your SVT Pat.Patalrob wrote:Redlineracer12 wrote:don't kid yourself, still slow.

about 3000... plus or minus 200 lbs Some people's weigh in around 3000, others more like 3200.FORDSVTPARTS wrote:Yeah, not too bad. It's only about 30 hp down from your SVT Pat.Patalrob wrote:Redlineracer12 wrote:don't kid yourself, still slow.

The Duratec V6 (in stock form, not an untuned Frankenstein like Tyler's car LOL) does have an incredibly long power curve though. It's pretty nice when you're making close to 200whp for each entire gear.

So a loaded SVTF is about 2750 so it's got a 300-500 pound weight adavantage on the SVTC (depending on the car) , weight is horsepower
I did a little checking and found the SVTC listed between 3110 AND 3126. The SVTC does of course have the benefit of displacement and a wider powerband but they should actually be fairly close in near stock form.
I don't think Tyler should go picking any fights with FI SVTF's though, he might be in for a bit of a shock.

You better pick up one of those st220 uppers then. You should dyno around here and get it tuned. I would like to see a decent dyno chart.
With a good tune your low end TQ should go way up, because yours is a lot lower than mine with the SVT cams/intakes. Plus it might smooth out all those jaged edges
