Check Engine Light... Help!

My check engine light just came on while driving home. :( I was just cruising at 55 and it came on. Anyone close to Hugo / Forest Lake have a flasher I can use to pull my codes? It still seems to run and drive fine, but I always get concerned when the CEL is on.

If it seems to be running fine, temp is ok, etc, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just an O2 sensor.

I was thinking either that or a TPS sensor.

Does the car feel normal or does it feel like you've lost some low end power?

I believe Autozone will scan it for free for you, I have a Predator for mine that I could bring in if you want to swing by. Let me know.

It feels perfectly normal. If you wanted to bring your Predator to work that would be great. I could go to Auto Zone, but the closest one I know of is on Rice Street. I'm hoping it's just the rear O2 sensor because I was planning on having it disabled when I buy my tuner anyway.

I forgot it today, I'll try to remember tomorrow.

Anyone else know who does free scans?

Did you bump the header on anything recently? Thats about the only thing that kills 02's on these.

I certainly don't think I bumped the header on anything.

Parking lot curb or anything?

Look at the bottom of the header and see how it looks.

I'll check it out, but I'm pretty cautious about parking. I always park at least a foot back from the curb to avoid bumper damage. 8)

I'll just use Steve's Predator if he remembers it tomorrow. If I need to buy any partr I'll already be there. ;)

Um, the only problem would be going to work tomorrow.

I'm off for the weekend 8)

Depending on the time you could swing by my house and we'll check it out. PM me if that'll work, I'm in Shoreview near 694 and Lexington.

I work at Mach 1 Car Audio & Security and a couple times a week I'd be able to anybody a free scan at our St. Paul shop. FYI

Do you want to get hit

The dash trick is just that, a trick. It really does nothing, kinda like big boobs on a fat chick.
