where the hell do i find that night shade spray tint stuff?

i googled it and found a place that sells it online. i actually think it was an e-bay transaction.

I buy mine at O'Riellys Auto Store.

Just go there and tell them you want a can of it. Its made by VHT, and its about 10$.

no like yello head lamp lenses, like in gt cars, i think it would look good aginst black, and i found out that if you split the head light and toss the filler panal and paint the backing panal gloss black it looks soooooooo much better, it looks as if the reflector is floating .

Go to a hobby shop like Micheals or something and you can get glass paint for like 3 bucks a can. It only tints, had a friend that had it on his vw and it looked ok.

If he wants to tint the foglights like I used to have on mine, you use Duplicolor MetalCast paint. Its gonna hold up alot better then some hobby paint. I had mine like that for acouple years and different cars and it works great. You can get blue, orange, purple, yellow and I believe green.

One interesting fact, when you spray the yellow, it smells like dog pee...

dog pee? metal cast huh, i was looking at that, but i didnt think it was like a candied clear. oh not the fogs, the main head lights. i like the the way the le mahns cars look with the yellow plastic over the lamps.

Oh, if thats the case. Do laminX.....I would not want to use any spray paint on the headlights, its just gonna chip and flake off...


I used the MetalCast stuff on my foglights, then used a clear laminX over them, this is how it looks like...

will that laminix work on the inside of the plastic lens? it was hard enough tapping of the first batch down in the front corners, i cant imagen what it would be like getting a clingy film down in there.

cus i want it to look like its a yellow lens , not some tacky selifane crap on my head lamp. the whole plan is to paint it like a r/c body, so the paint wont chip from being exposed to the elemments........and im not a goober , you meanny pants.
