I'm not positive on the price, lets put it this way he's pretty well off. He has a landscape business in Colorado very near Aspen that is very well known.
He would have liked to have done the work himself but no time to do it.

K, sorry but two things are bugging me.
1-the wheels are too bland
2-lose the Checker auto steering wheel, I hated those steering wheels when they came out back in the 80's
Ahhhhhh, I feel so much better now

The color is the closest he could get to the original that could be made.
As for the wheels I kinda like them
The steering wheel I hear you on that. Something that would have matched the car would have been better.
As for another project for him to pay for I'm trying to get him to pay for my 48 F-1

i like the car as is. now thats said, if it were mine it would have the t-bolt hood on it( i know its a gallaxy), id find some 18x9front and 18x13 rear steals. but as a car to look at it is very tastefuly done. it dose look fun to drive though.

The engine i'm not positive on but I believe it is a 302 bored and stroked 326... That sound right? The trans is a t-5, suspesion is mustang 2 front and 4 link rear. It has 1 hp to 10 lbs. Pretty good power ratio I think.

thats a very good power to weight!!!!! i bet that four link is what makes the magic happen. i had a friend in high school that had a 64 comet hard top with post( meaning it had b pilar) with a healthy 289 and a top loader 4 speed, one night on main street anoka he did a 100mph run and it hicuped through the carb and set it on fire. when i saw it , it actually looked like a comet. oh to be a young boy again
