Yo! Thank you sirs (I think for some of you). What more could you ask for with a January B-Day...freezing my arse off! Plans this evening are to eat out at Whiskey River (nice joint) in St. Peter. Then hit the strip clubs.....Ok, that was like 20 somthing years ago lol. Cake and ice cream of course. My wife and daughter love birthdays. I already started celebrating with a trip to McDonalds for a Big Mac meal. So much for the diet (lost 10 lbs so far, and the cholesteral). In the past I have had King Cake, a Mardi Gras celebration cake, as a birthday cake. Still might have to order up one of those bad boys!
As a retoview, 20 years ago I graduated from college in New Orleans, got engaged, left Louisiana and started a new life in Broomfield, CO (SW suburb of Denver, 20 minutes from Boulder). Everything looked up, with it all ahead of me. Maybe the best of times.
Well, after a morning of capping knees (j/k), I have the afternoon off...to finish 4 reports and prepare for an overnight trip on Thursday. Heading down Kyle's way.Hope to catch a bite with him tomorrow eve.

Man all that traveling... "beginning a new life".. mardi gras... strippers.. and cake. Sounds like mafia shit to me. I won't mess with you Chalon... haha. Have a kick ass birthday!

I survived
. My daughter and wife made the BD cake...it was yummy. I had to put off dinner till Saturday. Got to busy wrapping up. Still managed my favorite local Chinese plate (has many very large shrimp in it!). Now off to see Kyle tomorrow.
