I have my extra set and today finally got the ambition to start one of my winter projects. How the hell do you get the tail lich housings and lenses apart? Monkey Gein says they are sonic welded, and it's impossible, but the other one I bought was already sepereated.
Much appreciated.

Well, you pull headlights apart by heating them up in the oven...maybe that. Or cut the plastic welds out.

So the dumb question must be asked, Why do you want to take them apart?

If the sonic ones are in good shape just trade me straight up, not like I really care how mine are put together anyways, or just swap out the ones you have (duh).
But if they are glued it's the same thing as the headlights.
btw, make sure to use some type of load ballast.

^John, I have one apart already. I have no clue if they are new or old, i'd assume old?
I'd have to ask Pepsi about it.

If they came from him, they are probably as old as the pyramids.

So they'd be nearly as old as O6designs?

So if it's red, I bake them apart like headlights then? I have red housings.
And it won't be HID, or strobes. It's g-17 classified, i'm hoping they turn out as good as i have them figured out in my head.
