I have a quick question. I am planning on buying a CF Invader hood and was curious if those retain the windshield squirter's. I assume not from what i have seen at sites that sell them. But wondered if anyone knew for sure.

I'm nto sure, but i can offer you options.

1. go with out it. hell, then you can take all that washer crap out the eb also!
2. Custom mount it on the wiper cowel.
3. cut holes in 300+ dollar cf hood.

mine didn't. i was given the options to have holes drilled. if you do it, be careful, i here they crack easy. mine on the underside has spots that look like the holes in the skeleton of the hood for them (they are patched). the squirters are square and i was unsuccessful taking mine out, didn't want to damage. cheap universal ones are round $5. Lox has an invader too,, don't remember if he got squirters. i might be selling mine if i can't get my car back.

AND, you should prolly drill holes in the $500+ for pins.

or you can have one made and reinforced with kevlar around the hard points.

Rob there is way to mount the sprayers, so you don't have to drill the hood. PM me or something. That's how I used to have mine mounted.

Just get a spray bottle and when you need it roll down the window and go to town

BTW-don't run the CF hood in the winter unless you want it to be junk within two years.

hell around here you might want to mount an extra set! Or pick up the heated ones from an RS

Thanks guys, and Steve i def. won't be running this in the winter, it'll strictly be a fair weather hood. I don't have much money now, but i'm hoping to make the hood my next mod. sometime after xmas when i have money.
As for the squirter's, i def i'm not going to drill any holes in this hood.

The right spot down town you may be able to find someone to run out to your car with a bottle and rag to wash your windows for you, problem solved
