Open track days are $$$ unless you can get in on a day when a bigger group is there and they let you tag on.

No, it won't. I don't work with cars, I install office furniture. I'm pretty much at the top of my pay range. That and the huge slowdown at work has me looking for another job.

ok....so go learn a new trade, its slow you say, now you got all the time in the world to go to school. i wish i had some links for you about state and federal grants and loans. i wanted to be a welder fabricator when i grew up, so i went to school for it, got a free ride from catipilar. i did the whole gig for a few years and it sucked, so i went back to sckool for ford asset, and now im pissed that i didnt stay with welding......moral of the story, dont let money fool you into being happy, it will never happen.

Oh, I know all about that. I'd be making more money if I stuck with Customer Service. I hate customer service, though. The main thing is I need job that'll let me pay my mortgage while I'm learning something new. You'd better believe I'm looking into other options.
