Damaged but usable. got it 4 years ago from Owattana(?) bus co damaged worse. my dad owned it for the 4 years. 2.0 4cyl, auto, bags good, good title, many miles (189,000), manual wins, keyless entry (1 remote, 1 key {non-PATS), ford cd changer hookups. runs ok, needs tinkering, can drive home (engine light was on, but turned of a few months before i got it). smoker owned, drive seat broken, FULL of gas receipts. used by bus cos and pizza "boy". dad bought new car (from me ) so i got this. needs tabs. some new (used) suspension, new (used) alt from viking (the day before i got it)
title must be transferred before it leaves, cause it's in his name (i have permission to sell), my mom don't like that i have it in his name. if you want it for parts, we can fill out some paper work sign it and i'll keep plates and title.

parts will run about $700 off ebay, will need welding if you re going to fix, but ok now

hey, actually, if you got parts for this put what it is and the price down. then people will know were and how much they can get the parts they need.
this is a 1998.5 the only difference i think is the headlights and the header panel, and you can tell the diff in the rear bumper. 98 says "ZX2" on the back bumper, 98.5 says "Escort ZX2".
what year are them headlight for?

Would be fun to strip it, cage it, susp and big meaty tires...if only it werent a auto.

the headlights are from an 02

I am hoping to get rid of all my ZX2 parts at the same time, so like $180 for a front bumper with a little damage (lower grill and a spot that needs to be heated and bent back into the right shape), a rear bumper, a trunk lid with spoiler, the 15" swirlies, headlights that show normal wear, a set of power mirrors


I think that was all I kept.

Will consider trades for other car parts. The parts are twilight blue with the exception of the mirrors that are painted green.

gawd. I would love to pick this up and make it my project car. maybe if you still got it come spring i could pick it up. It would be fun to build a little monster zx2.

i might use it for the rest of the winter llike this, drill some new lights in the hood. i was actually thinking bout fixing it in the summer if it survived.
but, that's why i'm trying to sell it, i don't want to put the time into the front

fuck. if you keep it that long and i have the extra cash come spring i'll TRY and take it off your hands. no promises though. I've wanted to build a turbo z for a while, but never had the time. with this i'd have all the time in the world. lmk if you keep it until then and i may try and get if from you.

goin through that amount of work mightas well tube frame it, drop in a boosted 4.0 v6 and rear drive. that way you can dump a t5 on ther.
