Depends on how much you owe on it if you can break even or make a little on it sure but you were to loose on what it is worth no. Also about how many miles do you put on a year? You could keep it through the winter pay it down a little more "the resale on the small cars isn't going to move much with the market being the way it is" My 07 actually gained value by a couple thousand in 6 months.

If you want to stay with a focus and like the sedan look for an ST. If you like the hatchs the SVT is nice but don't forget about the premium gas. Also there are hand full of 2.3 manual hatchs out there but very hard to find.

I like the 08. but...i hate that there is nothing really out there yet for aftermarket. It sucks going uni and otrher meets and being one of the few pathetic stock cars out there....especially compared to the other foci from mnfocus. the only reason why I was thinking of getting a different car...or another car...maybe.... is 1. wanna get a manual tranny, 2. more selection in aftermarket parts, 3. can trade out parts and whatnot on here. I like the 08.great gas milage and all. acclerates good, handles good.... but dont like the limited selection on aftermarket.

what exactly are you looking for aftermarket wise? I'm sure you could find stuff id you really tried, unless you are looking for tacky appearance stuff.

plenty of stuff for your focus, just need to know where to look.

Right now I am wanting to get a CAI, exhaust, rims, tires, seats, tinted windows, and possibly different headlight/tail lights or at least get them tinted. I plan to save up money during the winter here after I get caught up money wise and get my car ready for winter.

those things besides the headlight and tail lihts shouldnt be a problem

the lights might be changed front and rear on the 09's but thatd just be a different stock

tint the tails, thats plenty easy. just track down some niteshade. The headlights, track down a DIY on how to bake them apart, and make them black housing. That looks bad ass, or maybe even paint them to match???

you bought it, you're stuck now. i don't like the 08. it's blending in. i also didn't like the 05-07 till i need a new (hatch) car. if you make it look diff it'll be better.
next time anyone looks at a 2 door... think of a Toyota Tercel, then you'll throw up a litle bit in you mouth.

if i had a chance to look at it in depth i could give you pointers on what to do to "pimp" it. i'm kind good at that shit... little things make the difference.
