We've been discussing doing a cruise in October.. before we agree on a final destination, I'd like to know how far everyone would be willing to drive, or even if you like the idea. Here's a few options...
Shorter cruise: ~25 miles - Drive to the Freight House, have dinner, drive back, maybe hit Uni after
Average Distance: ~65 miles - Drive to Mankato, new roads, curvy, restaurant lunch / dinner then heading back
Longer Distance: ~125 miles - Duluth, cruise a few places, have dinner, either drive back or stay the night
The target date is Saturday October 11th so mark your calendars, I'd like to make a decision by Friday so speak and lets do this!
Fall Cruise?

Hmmmm I'll have to see what I have going on. But I'd probably be up for any of those distances as long as I have time available. The shorter drives would be easier to schedule stuff around though.

I voted for average, just because I agree with redlineracer, might get difficult with scheduling. I suppose if we schedule far enough in advance it would be easier.

I'd have to say 65 and even that could be tough to schedule for me right now both timewise and cashwise.

holiday inn is decent one and there is one that recently open next to the Alltel center, have to check the name again. there are couple motels along 169 where the 507 meet was and I think they are just decent. never been in there since i have my own place lol....Forbidn wrote:Have any nice hotels down there? lolY2k wrote:darn it, i voted short before i even read it...lol yeah common down here to mankato and pay me a visit sometimes....
