Ok, this might sound generic and childish. But plain and simple, I really want more power out of my focus.

Is there anything else I can do? Or is boost my only "next-in-line"?

have you done a 65mm/67mm throttle body, that gave mine a lot more off the line "jump". (this doesn't really give you more hp persay, but it makes your throttle much touchier and responsive.)
By custom exhaust does that include header?

If you have the money i would really look into boost. Personally if i had the money and another DD i'd definitely be going turbo-charged. 8)

Ok, I guess I should have mentioned that my car is an SVT...

So I am not sure if that changes the Cams idea. Let me know. And as far as the header goes, I was under the impression that the SVT header was of high quality.

A throttle body is an awesome idea! I forgot about that. I wish they weren't so damn expensive though. Should I think about doing wires and and all that stuff too, or is it a waste of money?

On the boost topic.

Are those Powerworks kits still available or is there a better way to go? I would love to fab my own setup, but I can't help but wonder if it would be smarter to just by a kit.

I REALLY WANT BOOST!

The procharger from what I have found in my searches gets the most Hp out of a Supercharger for the SVT. There was a guy on FJ that just sold his Procharger for $1300 i believe. He was pushing 267 hp on 8lbs of boost and he bumped it upto 10 lbs and hit 287 hp. You can get a 15 lb pulley but he didn't recomened it. Just reamember when you go Boost get a Stage 3 Clutch and Flywheel and posibly a LSD. That'll run you another $875 for the Clutch and $750 for the LSD.

For 700 more you could have a new Procharger from CFM. Not saying this one isn't but when a add like this comes out thats only 2 lines thats a little skeptical.

There seems to be Plenty of JR's available yet and Powerworks there are a couple left.

As for the TB i believe Steve can get a stg 2 for under $200

The SVT header as far as I know is a Cosworth header.

yeah, the header, cams and head were all designed by cosworth...I doubt there's much better out there.

As far as NA boltons are concerned, a lighter flywheel will probably give you the most noticable gain at the wheels, even though the motor isn't making any more power.

Ok, so the procharger system at CFM is a "tuner kit." Which apparently means it is not a complete kit?!

In addition to the kit I would need to purchase:

60 lb fuel injectors-$200
Diablosport MAF.ia.- $180
Plugs & Wires- $100(?)
Dyno tuning by someone in MN that can do Predators.-$(?)
Clutch kit- $900
LSD- $800-900

All this + "tuner kit" and I am looking at around $7000. Thats a bit too high for me.

Boost may be out of the question... where is Steve at with my new throttle body? :D

What? How are you gonna afford boost if you can't afford a throttle body? A throttle body is way less expensive than boost. Check with Steve I think he has good prices

EDIT: There you go, haha

depending on how often you want the power you can always go with a nitrous kit. if you dont get carried away and use it responsibly its a safe speed alternative.

@sucka612: I meant as far as what the throttlebody gives for what you pay. $300 for a little more response and no power gain is "expensive" in my books. I should have made myself clearer though. Sorry.

If steve can get me one for under $200 though, I would take it.

You can find Steve right here in mnfocus viewtopic.php?f=1&t=474

Sorry that I forgot to mention that the Procharger was a turner kit.
