Midwest Turbofords meet

I was talking to Steve yesterday and he mentioned that some folks tried to crash the MWTF meet last year, but couldn't find the place. We've been talking about a meet all Summer, but haven't gotten a date set up yet. I asked the group how they'd feel about opening it up to the Focus crowd and it looks like they're all for it.

If you want to check out, we've got some pictures from past meets up at our site. Once we've got a date nailed down, I'll post it here.

It's looking like we may be doing our meet at the Wheels & Wings show in Osceola, WI on the 6th. Colin with the 16V XR may be there as well as Tim with the Turbo V8 AWD XR.

Yup, it's the 6th from 8:00-4:00. I'll be in my XR since this will be this year's MWTF meet.

Are you guys meeting up somewhere in advance so you can roll in together or anything? I'll be at the show for sure but I probably won't show unless I can get lined up with you guys.

We haven't really decided on that yet. It sounds like Colin won't have the head back on his XR this week, so that one won't be there. Tim should still be there with is turbo V8 AWD XR, though. I would guess Tim wouldn't mind a chase car, so I'll probably be heading to his place before he heads out. If you want to join us there I can get you the address and some directions.

Alright, it looks like the majority of folks want to get to the show when it opens, so we're meeting at my friend Tim's house at 7:00. For anybody who wants to meet us to convoy out there, the address is 7464 Colfax Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55444. The map from Google Maps is pretty good.

Steve, the other guy you were talking about with the XR (Eric Tenney) will be there. It'd be cool if anybody would make it.

I will be there for sure but I'll be later than that as I'm rolling in with my dad and his Jag. Plus with the kids 7:00 would be awfully early.

Allright, I'm showing the SVT. I won't be in super early though, probably 9:00ish.

My girls are getting dropped at Grandmas and I'm bringing my son and his friend.
