So last night on my way home from softball I was heading west on hwy 10 in Anoka/Ramsey and some fucking ass hole kid was driving stupid as hell switching from lane to lane, back and forth trying to pass everyone in sight.

I am in the left lane passing a slower moving pontiac and just as I get far enough past it to move over into the right lane, the fucking kid thinks its a great Idea to use that "extra" space I left to quickly cut off the Pontiac and try passing me, at this point I already had my turn signal on, and was moving over into the right lane, by the time I realized it, he was on the side of me and I damn near side swiped him.

I pull back over in the left lane, and the kid swerves over into the shoulder, then next thing I know he over corrects it and starts spinning out of control right in front of me, he went from should to shoulder (right lane to left) and hits the center median where all the street signs are, takes them the fuck out.

well one of the damn street sign decides to pop out into my lane and say hi. I didn't have enough time to stop and couldn't swerve into the right lane to miss it as the Pontiac was right next to me, so I tagged the sign and fucked my car.

doesn't look like much but damn near $5k in damage. Blew out my tire, took out two rims, headlight, bumper, drivers side front fender... ect...

just thought I'd share my fucked up night.

sold Alien to a kid from Prescott, WI on here a few months ago, picked up the Fusion the same week. 07 All Wheel Drive, fully loaded, heated leather seats, everything, damn car is awesome, well it was, but hopefully when I drop off Monday they'll be able to get everything fixed and looking bran new again.

cant believe its 5k to fix it. so is he paying for yours then since hes the one that caused the sign to say hi... that would suck if you have to use yours to cover it.

That sucks. I'd have ended up in the popo dissing that kid. I had something very similar to this happen to me just two weeks after getting my license. The difference is I side swiped the guy...blasted his ass off the road, across somebody's lawn, and into a cross street. I had everything cleared, blinker on, looked over my shoulder, looked ahead and started to get over...bam.

The guy decided to f me and sped up to close the hole. I had passed the dude and then some. Great memory...not. Sorry to hear about your car man.

Damn Josh that sucks. Hope the punk bitch was cited the ticket and has to pay out of his insurance...

I bet the person in the Pontiac puckered up....

In Minnesota it is no fault, where your insurance pays for it, then on your behalf, your insurance company goes after the offender of the accident.

So I'll pay my deductible, get my car fixed, and then worry about having his insurance pay for mine after the fact. If it was any other way you'd have to sit and wait for his insurance to get off their ass to fork over the money to get it fixed, also state farm which I go through is known to be ruthless when it comes to fighting over shit like this.

hehe, he did chuckle a little bit after i said "now that this is all said and done, was cool seeing him do shitty across the hwy"

and yea doesn't look like much damage in the pictures but the door damn is all fucked so they have to replace the entire quarter panel, thus having to take apart the car a lot so much of it is labor, i think damn near $3k in labor alone.

I can see where the money is...from the pics. I'd say if the car was acouple years older, it would almost be a total job...good to hear your getting it fixed asap. You should'nt have to drive garbage because of that quife.(sp? LOL)
