Sup, I'm frankjt96's friend that was at the last meet. My name is Tyler and I drive a honda...(this should be excitting) accord V6 and it is missing a pedal. Anyway, seemed like a cool group so I'll hang around if you don't mind

(As long as this forum doesn't turn into the next MNSC I will stay. But if we start getting "that certain kind of people" i'll be out. You all know what i'm talking about... X car is way better than Y car bacause it's made in Japan/Germany/USA. Whatever, it's all crap.)

Ok well, to clear up the air on why I drive a honda.

Story begins with me turning 16 and buying my dads 93 V6 Dakota for $1000. I drove it for about a year and started having troubles with MPG and the transmission was beginning to slip as it had 105k miles. My mom had leased a honda accord (my car) and the lease was up, the buyout on the lease was $13,500 and I wanted to buy something else. My parents offered me the accord which was worth at the time about $19,000. I almost bought a Dodge Ram but decided to go with the accord because it was loaded with features and I was going to start driving from Rosemount to Inver Grove daily for school. So here I am with the accord. It's a great car but after learning how to drive a manual from Frankjt96 I really want a manual car and I personally hate the color of the accord. I would feel bad selling the accord for something else since my parents gave me such a good deal on it and they want me to have something reliable. I know it's my money thats paying for the accord but I respect my parents and appreciate the deal they gave me so for the time being I am a honda owner. I am not the type of person who thinks one brand is better than any other. Honestly I think they all suck for the most part, one not being better than another. I do like the focus and I liked the people on the forum that I met so I joined. Hope it doesn't piss too many people off
