Has anyone had any experience welding plastics? There are a number of plastic welder types as well as rod to weld the different types. Interesting to find out (unless the source is wrong) that our bumper covers are made of TPO instead of PU.

I did it awhile ago in Auto Body School ther are different types of Plastic's out there so its kinda hard if you don't have experiance with it. There is a type of Epoxy out now that is able to do this I would check with a Body Shop or Auto Suppy Store.
Good Luck,

Duramix.
it's an uber epoxy. use it as a plastic weld, or plastic filler... whatever. and it's completely sandable.

plasty welding is a thing of the past. with so many different epoxies and adhesives its so much easier and quicker to go that route, that way it dont matter what you bond to what.
