so these anoying girls in a blazer (probably 4.3 vortec) decided to fuck with me at a stop light, light goes green, i let em have it, pull hard on them in first, hit second really hard and BOGGG, let off the gas, hit it again, BOGG, WTF?? pull over, pop the hood, and here my intake tube was pulled off of the throttle body when i shifted. luckily i had a screwdriver in the car, 5 minutes later i was up and running again, but boy did that ever scare the hell outta me, had that nice smell of unburnt gas comin out of the exhaust. i bet those annoying girls thought their blazer was king shit after that, fuckin blazer.

harsh...are you still runnin with the filter on the maf on the intake mani?

yea, i think the filter4 might be rubbing against the hood a little, causing it to push down, which in turn is puling it away from the tb, a little fine tuning and i'll be set.
