Does anyone think one of these could be had at like a junkyard yet? I would like to get one and color match it.....and take out the ford thing in the middle.

I imagine they're out there, you just need to look hard enough. From what I understand, though, is that there's a solid chunk of black plastic where the ford emblem goes i.e. not very attractive

You could get a ST grill from Steve for a Great Price!!

Yeah if you take out the emblem, there is an indent the shape of it there with holes for where it was mounted, it's not an attractive option. I'd try gettting just the surround and putting in your own color matched mesh, that's what i'm probably going to do some day.

I've been working on one, I bought an ST from Steve last year which is on my car and have been abusing my stocker. There is a big ugly mounting surface underneath the Ford emblem so as suggested earlier, cutting it out and replacing with mesh is about your only option. I have been looking for a decent mesh and have found a stretched hexagonal ABS mesh I want to try but will probably wait until later in the summer to order it as the only place I have found it available through is an overseas company and shipping costs as much as the product. For now I have some alumimum expanded metal mesh to try a couple of ideas with but really like the ABS mesh and the same source has finishing rings for the mesh should you want to either want to have your exhaust exit as in the rear, or have round fog/driving lights, or CAI tube in the front. The rings are about 4 inches and 3 1/8 inches in diameter, I believe they also have one that is oval if I recall.
