Either I'm crazy or lucky, I'll never know for sure. But I took the plunge anyway. So, I just bought a 25 year old car!

Now, I just have to pay for it

My first new car is back in the stable. One 1982 Brown Metallic Toyota Celica ST. Practically mint. 43K miles 5spd, RWD....The engine is the indestructable 22R. There's no lack of aftermarket support for this lump. Immediate plans are to find a set of GT-S wheels and fender flares.

It was a democratic household vote, with my daughter and me as the "Y" votes. My wife couldn't say no. Take a look.
Oh yeah, now I really have to sell my Focus stuff.

I actually laughed read I read the title of this thread. Damn, you didn't tell us how good of a condition its in... I think. I woulda voted Y too. Congrats!

Yeah, this thing is sick clean. It still has it's first set of replacement tires from 1988 Not much to do for restoration.
