Has anyone gone to the ice races? Whats the deal with parking?

One main point of this is getting the cars out on the ice for pics (not in a super tight grouping though)

Also there are several lakes in the Lindstrom area. So If we get pics at one and watch the ice races at the other that is fine or watch the rac es then get some pics.

I've been to 1 ice race. At the time I had my escort, which was really low and it couldn't get on the ice because of the steep boat launch entrance and bumpy ice at the entrance. Though, out on the ice, cars and trucks were pretty close together.

They canceled Millacs Lake, Garrison.

Not sure why though went by there last weekend and they had the track plowed out.

Maybe there weren't enough entries for the event, I know the field at Road America has been a bit smaller than usual at the smaller events.

Gas may be cheap now but with so many people losing jobs they may be saving what cash they've got.

Very true. I had thought about that also.

I have noticed that the local ice racers cars in Garrison have not moved at all for the past year or so. Being last year I don't think they could even get onto the ice till about this time last year or later.

Yet I can't seem to find exact times?????

Check local bars and Gas stations. They always seem to have flyers up for things like that.
